el limón,
the little town that could.
It's a
short story and presentation of the IT project that I will be working on
from Stanford from September 2004 - June 2005.
The
digital story will portrait the small mountain village of El Limón (on
the western part of the Dominican Republic) it's people, the people
involved in the project, the achievements so far and the expected goals.
The story will also present the technologies to be used, the methodology
and the actions to be taken. Finally, it will show how it will be
replicated to other mountain villages in the Dominican Republic and
serve as a model for other small villages in Latin America.
